Jon Prescott
Jon has appeared in the films: Seduced, Parts Per Billion, Howl, The Holiday, Placebo, Careless, Construction, The One, Holiday High School Reunion, Christmas in the City and Maladies and in television on American Woman, The Client List, The Good Wife, L&O: Criminal Intent, 30 Rock, Untitled Jersey City Project, Rescue Me, CSI:NY, Las Vegas, As The World Turns, One Life to Live, Watch Over Me, Hot Properties and the HBO pilot Suburban Shootout. Jon also hosted Outdoor Investigations, which took him from the beaches of Brazil to the Arctic Sea and locations between, to investigate environmental catastrophes and extreme sports tragedies.
Growing up outside Portland, Oregon instilled a love for the great outdoors. Whitewater kayaking, mountain climbing, skiing, and rock climbing were easy to learn and love in the Pacific Northwest. Highlights include reaching the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro with his dad, going for a polar bear swim in the icy waters of the Arctic Sea, cavern and open water diving, and completing several marathons.
In 2012 Jon moved from New York to Los Angeles and took up ceramics. He converted his back house into a pottery studio and now sells his work at www.jonprescottpottery.com as well as in several stores around Los Angeles.
