Asia Smith

Asia Ray Smith (Associate Producer) is a writer, producer, actress, and singer living in Woodland Hills, California. She began her professional career at age 14 with a four-year run playing the role of Sierra Hoffman on CBS’ The Young and the Restless, for which she won an industry award. Educated at Loyola Marymount University (Bachelor of Arts) and Pepperdine University (Master of Arts), Smith toured Europe singing choral soprano in Italy, Austria, and Germany in 2010 and 2012, and, for a number of years, produced numerous underground music concerts in Los Angeles. Alongside her father, John F. Smith (Executive Producer for “Ronnie Brixton”), she co-wrote and co-composed the libretto and music for the original musical “Dreamland” (which is currently in development) as well as starred in two stagings of the show in both 2015 and 2016. She has additionally served as Supervising Producer for “Dreamland” since January 2015. The two are concurrently developing Steeltown, a television series. Asia joined the “Brixton” team in late 2017 and is excited to be a member of this incredible production.
