This is a WOW of a show. Funny, great storytelling, woven into a universal and existential angst. There's an intelligence to the humor that I loved. I can't imagine anyone who wouldn't relate to this show. See it!... full review

This is an incredibly fun modern comedy of manners that comments on gender, sexuality, and the ability and inability to communicate with each other in dating and relationships. Incredibly entertaining and enjoyable!... full review

Very solid work everywhere. This is a main stage ensemble play at the Fringe! I really liked the history of the play, the work of the actors, and became more and more engrossed in the characters' conflicts. The play left me thinking about race and diversity in new ways, stepping outside conventional understanding, which I loved.... full review

A Complete Waste of Time

THIS SHOW IS FANTASTIC and very, very, very funny. If you love standup (and I do), this is a chance to catch a comic on the rise doing out-of-the-box and original material that is laugh-out-loud funny. I really enjoyed Steve Chang's deadpan delivery and his material. He takes the risks that great comics take in being outrageous, overly truthful, and very incorrect. LOVED IT! Consider this a rave review. You absolutely shouldn't miss this show!... full review

I Came To Make Noise

I LOVE this show. MUST SEE! It combines a visceral and raw reality with an embodied intelligence that speaks profoundly to women's experience. From the Fosse-ish movement in the beginning to the very contemporary use of hip-hop and popping (and with a live beat box sound track), this show will move you and create a continued sense of surprise. I identified with the experiences of being a woman, and loved the artistry. Good work everywhere.... full review

Snap Honey

Vageena Honey IS this show. And she is badass and out of the box in her diva-ness and her perspective on everything! The other characters really just serve to create her portrait. I love drag and camp SO MUCH, and she just got better with every minute that went by. And when she did her drag song it was really touching.... full review

Morgan really embodies the prophet, priestess and member of Troy's royal family, all while completing daily tasks in an unexpected juxtaposition. This show has a core of humanity that lets the audience know that not much has changed in how the truthteller/messenger is treated by the powers that be...making the show entirely relevant.... full review
