Words can't explain how much I loved Baba, Jee!!! Ayesha Siddiqui has written a play that is grounded, funny, heat warming, sometimes sad, and always real. The actors have a beautiful chemistry, dialogue is quick witted, and the pacing of the play is great. I could relate to so many moments, and many other people I spoke to said the same. Trojan Women is a wondrously spun tale by the actors of Nongenue. It was thrilling to see such unique and diverse women performing this classic play with a marvelous amount of passion and fervor. Othello & Otis is poetry in motion. This production is stirring and startling, in the way it so eloquently shows the inner lives of African Americans. It interweaves the searing truth of scholar James Baldwin's words, the mystery and heartbreak of Othello, with deftly used dance and soaring soulful vocals to create a highly memorable experience. I could not recommend this production more to those who are searching for more empathy in this United States. ... full review
