Weird Al Is Gonna Die!

What a delightful romp into an insane, high octane variety show! I loved every second, including the interstitials of random parody songs. The music videos and art design of the set and props were brilliant. I felt like I was on a roller coaster of "Cool, man!" and the action and comedy had me trying to catch my breath by the end!... full review

Enormous Things: The Musical

The amount this show made me believe in art again was ... an enormous amount. The acting, singing, story, puppetry... I felt like I was a kid again, and as much as I laughed, I also felt permission to color outside the lines in my own adult life. I would see this show as many times as they'd let me, and I have a parasocial relationship with Klaus now. I don't make the rules.... full review

My god, this was what I want every solo show to be. It was storytelling, standup, and the most beautiful soulful Amy Winehouse-level singing of absolutely R-rated true "everyone is thinking it but not saying it" lyrics I've ever heard. I cried because I was laughing and because I was crying.... full review

Y'all this show is so funny. I blinked and it was over and my face and stomach were sore from laughing and smiling. The most sordid comedy about rejection!... full review

Such a polished spectacular extravaganza! It is exactly what is promised and more! An 80s musical about women in the video game industry, complete with rockin songs that sound straight from the pop radio in 1980!... full review

A Shark Ate My Penis: a History of Boys Like Me

An absolute triumph of pure comedic edu-tainment about trans-men, and a deep dive into auteur Laser the Man's trans journey. The house was packed and the laughs per minute were astounding. The messages were heartfelt and grounded, and emotions were felt. I walked away with an optimism and hope for trans people and the future of gender in our world... and sore abs (from laughing).... full review
