If their magic doesn't wow you, their banter will leave you in stitches. Seriously, these guys have the art of patter down so well, you'd think they've been working together for decades, not just a couple of years. Bravo. Can't wait to see what they bring next year!... full review

Performances so strong, the stage couldn't handle it. Seriously, they left a square-foot smoking hole in the middle of the stage! Hell yeah! Bravo, guys. Can't wait to see more from this exciting new group!... full review

I Could've Been Dancing: A Magical Evening of Song & Laughs

Ben and Sarah are incredibly talented, and this production shows off that talent in spades! The singing was strong, the character work even stronger. However, what really won me over was the absolute, unshakeable commitment they gave to their roles and the show itself. WOW. Bravo. I want more. ... full review

I enjoyed this show. I think it has a lot of potential and I'm glad to know it's getting developed further beyond the festival. On the plus side, the show was carried on the backs of strong performances. On the minus side, the transitions hurt the momentum of the show itself. However, I think this was an excellent effort all around, and I'm excited to see what this team brings to the festival next year!... full review

KILL A BETTER MOUSETRAP

This was a fun show. I'm glad I caught it. Scott K. Ratner is spot-on as the loveable loser holding the movie rights to the Agatha Christie classic. The script itself is clever and full of little homages to Dame Agatha and her work, and the layered story unfolds perfectly. My only gripe is the end note - I wish there was something more definitive there. But still, well done. ... full review

This beautiful one-woman show kept me riveted to my seat from the moment it started through the final exit. A great script, a powerful performance rooted in strong character work, and visceral imagery merge into a tour de force production that exemplifies what one-person theatre should be. Bonus, this show featured strong production value for Fringe, showing that "simple" doesn't have to mean stripped down to nothing. Thank you to Cindy Marie Jenkins for recommending this show to me.... full review

The Pokemusical

The Pokemusical - Gotta catch it at least once. I was in high school when the Pokemon craze hit, so I didn't know much about the phenomenon besides the fact that it existed. At first, I was a little concerned about whether or not I'd "get" the show. Those fears were alleviated the minute the lights went down and the music started. "The Pokemusical" is a riotous musical parody that lovingly and smartly pokes fun at the source material the same way "The Spidey Project" sends up "Spider-Man: ... full review
