Awesome story, skillfully acted, unbelievable, yet believable at the same time, meaning that the torture she had to endure for seven years was unbelievably inconceivable, yet believable, knowing that slaves in general endured treatment that was so horrific it could never be truly re-created. Did this slave girl really endure this? Was it a story she just conceived in her mind and wrote, directed, and acted? I thought the show was a very creative mix of different personalities which portrayed realistic stories about what may happen in the day of a life of any American woman, at any given stage of life. It further seemed to have shed a comdic light on what it must feel like to experience everything that perhaps certain African American women may experience, (I don't think white girls use hotcombs).
