Please, please, PLEASE go see this show. From the moment you enter the room, there is movement, and you get the feeling that the performance has already begun. For the performers, and yourself, safe is your seat. The theater is hot, but the performers are HOTTER. I can't be sure what you will see at Wet The Hippo with it's "improv, sort of" nature, but if it is anything like last night's 7:30 performance, it will the most honest work you will see of any show at the Fringe this year. Four Clowns presents Me Rich You Learn

I didn't know what to expect from this latest work by Four Clowns, but, as is their calling card I feel, the performers had an acute awareness of how the audience was perceiving the show and used it to their fullest advantage. If you haven't seen Four Clowns before, this is moving slightly into new territory of clown but all the same you'll be thrust into similar raucous comedic environments, charming and simple acts, as well as compassionate and relatable characters. LEMON BOOTS is bold. While I struggled to place the show as physical theatre or dance theatre, this large cast of talented artists really give their all, engage the audience, and cushion the confusion of plot with surprising physical feats. I highly recommend adding this to your calendar. It is a very enjoyable experience.... full review
