POSTER CHILD: How Charlie's Angels Kicked My Ass Out Of The Closet

David is a masterful performer blending fun, breezy characters and voices with vulnerable personal stories. I was engaged from the moment the Charlie’s Angels first started bantering! ... full review

Smart, funny, thought provoking, boundary pushing! The writing and the way the characters treated each other constantly had me rethinking the way I viewed each of them and all of their relationship dynamics. Sensitive topics were handled with care but also a degree of levity that balanced out the difficult feelings the story was evoking.... full review

Big Maestro & Little Cello Boy

It was so inspiring to see clown paired with live cello as a great example of ways to play with contrasting styles. The performers had a great rapport so that even when the Big Maestro seemed to be pushing the Little Cello Boy (and his body) beyond his limits, we as the audience always trusted both of them to be in total synch with each other.... full review

Silly, mythic, and fantastic! I loved all of the stories and the way they were blended together with humor, heart, and sometimes even a bit of horror. Every cast member played a number of characters and brought rich uniqueness to each of the various personalities they were portraying.... full review

Goody

Loved the way Elena built her connections with the crowd both through individual interactions and playing with "mob" mentality too! There were points where she'd make certain actions to get a certain reaction out of us as her audience, and every time she did, I felt we were all on the same page (or as much as she wanted us to be at least ;-). By the end of the performance, we were her personal orchestra and she was able to conduct us through all of the reactions she had taught us during the show.... full review

The Great Marzini

tanner cipriano · June 25, 2026 certified reviewer
So much warmth and silliness packed into a magic show in which the greatest trick was how much The Great Marzini could win the crowd over with illusions that sometimes went haywire, audience interactions that always connected us deeper, and earned vulnerability underlying the whole performance. As much as I loved Marzini's antics, I was entranced any time Marisa dropped the character to talk to us as herself directly, and it was a fun and practical character detail to just cover the mustache for ... full review

HYSTERICAL

So friggin funny AND unsettling at the same dang time!!! Jackie masterfully balances what could be very conflicting tones and creates a clown show that'll make you jump in terror as much as you laugh out loud. From the moment, we walked into the theater, I felt transported to a claustrophobic and gothic setting thanks to the Skiptown red curtain that seemed inches away from the front row. As mysterious gloved hands poked out of the curtain to start the show by getting the entire audience to start... full review

Roast Your Chestnuts

Move over BAD SANTA, Mrs. Clause has more important things to say and she's not afraid to use some profanity!!! So much fun seeing Tanya perform as a raunchy and no-holds-barred version of this under-appreciated Christmas character who finally gets the spotlight she deserves! The writing was filled with such smart jokes and brutal roasts that I was laughing as much as I was also wondering, "Should I be laughing at the hilarious thing she just said??" Tanya, Ashely, and their whole team of produce... full review

Apocalypse Clowns

Brave, bold, and apocalyptically amusing!!! The first play immediately transported us to a dismally absurd final night at a fancy eatery as the world was coming to an end outside, and Picklewater hosted both the couple from the audience that was brought on stage as well as the rest of us in the crowd with unmatched hospitality and physical prowess. His engaging clown skills were on full display for the entire experience, quite literally at a few key points... (that I don't want to spoil any furth... full review
