This was a very ambitious production. The songs sounded great and everyone had a spectacular voice, but I left the theater needing more clarity. Character arcs and relationships were pushed to the side to make room for musical numbers that didn't do much to move the story along. With such a committed and talented cast, the script could have used a little more love! I hope that with future productions, they will consider workshopping it a bit more, because at least a half hour could be cut from... full review

I first saw David and Leeman at the premiere of their fringe show, "Filthy Liars" in 2012. If you have seen them in the past, you will find "Magic and Other Dangerous Things" to be an act of maturity. David and Leeman were grounded, real and vulnerable in their performances.
