Alena Bernardi

Alena Bernardi is an indie artist & soprano originallyfrom Detroit, Michigan who blends her classical roots with pop, folk, rock, jazz, & neo soul.

Alena’s vocal stylings have been called the perfect hybrid of Karen Carpenter and Joni Mitchell with the flexibility and prowess of classic soprano Joan Sutherland.

As a songwriter & performer Alena has performed her original music at venues all across the greater Los Angeles area, including The Bourbon Room, The House of Blues, and The Hudson Theatre where she premiered her one woman musical comedy “Swiped The Musical” in 2019 winning the Hollywood Fringe encore extension award for the success of the production.

Amidst the great pause of 2020 Alena teamed up with songwriter and performer Catriona Fray and composer and producer Danny Pravdar to co – found Homegrown Recording and Collective. Since then Alena has co-created as a producer and artist the live concert series; Homegrown LIVE. Homegrown LIVE performed 11 monthly shows in the year 2022 showcasing the work & collaborations of over 50 artists and now holds a residency at The Hotel Cafe.

Alena is happy to present the evolution of all of this divine work in her most recent Hollywood Fringe production “Homegrown Collective: Coming Home To The Soul.”
