Katy Marcella
Katy Marcella is thrilled to be apart of HFF17 and this dazzling show! Originally from Minnesota, Katy studied ballet across the country, including Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet & Milwaukee Ballet School. She received a BFA in Musical Theatre & Dance from the University of Minnesota Duluth, and was nominated to compete in the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival’s Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship competition for her role as Kendra in the original play Target Behavior. She also performed in the world premiere of Kerrigan & Lowdermilk’s Tales from the Bad Years, the first fully-staged production of their song cycle by the same name. After graduating college, Katy spent some time in Istanbul, Turkey teaching musical theatre dance at Maltepe Üniversitesi. Since making the move to Los Angeles, Katy has performed in multiple theatre productions, and has worked alongside Jordana Brewster in Fast & Furious 7, as well as Missi Pyle in the Golden Globe nominated movie Gone Girl, directed by David Fincher. You can see Katy in episodes of Parks & Recreation, Modern Family, The Fosters, and dancing in the 6th season of Glee.
