Keith Barber has acted on stage and in film for the past four decades. Theater credits include most currently the role of Sharky in The Seafarer, directed by Neighborhood Playhouse Executive Director Pamela Moller Kareman. Among his numerous stage collaborations with Ms. Kareman are: Ten Unknowns, House of Blue Leaves, Precious Sons, Abundance, Days of Wine and Roses and the “Theater 808” Off Broadway productions of Biography, and The Crucible. Other notable theater credits are Frankie and Johnny at the Clair de Lune at the Human Race Theatre Company, and Waiting for Lefty, directed by the late and great Howard Da Silva.

Among his many TV/Film credits are the award winning All The Way, with Bryan Cranston, My Own Love Song, with Renee Zellweger, Vegas, Law and Order SVU, and the newly finished Independents Butterfly Caught, and The Spearhead Effect, executive produced by Terrence Malick, which recently opened at the Dallas International Film Festival.

The bedrock of his craft was formed while studying with the late and renowned acting teachers George Morrison at the SUNY Purchase Acting Conservatory (graduated, BFA, 1982), and later in NYC with the incomparable Fred Kareman. Mr. Barber is also a writer/director and recently wrapped two of his original film shorts that are making their way into the festival circuit.
