I’m thrilled to be playing SIRENA in J.D. Mata’s A NIGHT AT THE CHICANO ROCK OPERA https://www.hollywoodfringe.org/projects/6790 . #HFF21 #ANightattheChicanoRockOpera #Sirena

I’m an actor, writer, and translator. I’ve trained with Susan Giosa, at the Susan Giosa Acting Workshop, Val Lauren at The Wild Bunch, and with Matthew Scott Snyder, Sean Barnes, Lak Rana, Wilmer Calderon, and Robyn Cohen. I’ve also worked with Jean-Louis Rodrigue and Kristof Konrad (Alexander Technique), William Harrahan (Voice), and Julia Calder (Alexander Technique & performance).

I performed the lead role of Virginia for HEIDI DUCKLER DANCE’s Illuminating the Chandelier (April 2020), the company’s first original digital site-specific performance shared globally – and live – through Zoom’s streaming platform. The LA Times’ Makeda Easter writes: “An estimated 400 people tuned in, not only from Southern California but also the East Coast and as far away as Brazil.” The piece is inspired by Clarice Lispector’s novel The Chandelier and features “the inner dialogue of a woman in isolation.”

I co-created, with Sohani Holland, the show CONTACT (February 2020), as the culmination of an artist’s residency at the Highways Performance Space. LA Weekly’s Shana Nys Dambrot describes CONTACT as “a spectacle of rich visuals, organic movement, dance, and live audio/visual mixing.”

I originated the role of ATENEA in Susannah Rodriguez Drissi’s REY Y ATENEA, which premiered at SHORT + SWEET HOLLYWOOD Festival (2019) — sponsored by NBC, Argentum Studios, Final Draft, and others — & placed as a FINALIST in the LATINO section.

I play Annie in Lucia Senesi’s short film A SHORT STORY (2019), which premiered at the LA Shorts International Fest (2019), and I was named BEST LEAD ACTRESS at the Montreal International Indie Short Film Awards (2020) for this role.
