Educated at Interlochen Arts Academy, North Carolina School of the Arts and the Yale Drama School, Margot began her career in New York City. She acted in Off-Broadway shows, including Godspell, did a few soaps and shot gobs of commercials. She was in the original production of “I’m Getting My Act Together & Taking It On The Road”. After a year with the show in NYC, she relocated for its year–long run in Los Angeles. She has been performing her original music in numerous local clubs off and on since since she moved to LA..She was reviewed started by Variety, Los Angeles Times and Dramalogue, among others. Her first album, Gravity of the Heart, can be found on iTunes, Spotify etc, as well as on her Soundcloud page.Margot co-produced two benefits for the foundation Caring For Babies with AIDS entitled The Mother in Us All. She previously composed and co-wrote two musicals, one work-shopped and one produced. She originated the role of Bitsy in the play Sordid Lives, played the role in the original stage production and co-wrote the title song, Sordid Lives. Margot’s acting credits include over 65 roles in television and film;. On stage, original NYC and Los Angeles productions of I’m Getting My Act Together; Last Summer at Bluefish Cove, Taken in Marriage, Sordid Lives, Largo Desolato, Uncommon Women & Others and Siblings, among others. Margot is currently in production with her musical memoir, SPRINGLOADED; its world premiere is June 11, 2017 in this years’ Hollywood Fringe Festival.
Most important of all, are the exquisite 17yr old twins, Will & Nora.
