Such a sweet story about a self-described not-so-great daddy's girl who is being too hard on herself! By the end, seeing the journey and the visual love between father and daughter was endearing AF. Loved it!... full review

Caught In The Mix

A fantastic show by a fantastic performer, Kira tells an important story about finding and accepting her true identity in a very entertaining manner. Her characters were precise, and her use of video helped bring the story to life while also adding moments of levity. The show flew by, and I really hope I get to see more of her in the future. Simply...fantastic!... full review

My goodness! Brimming with emotion and energy, Barbara pours her heart out in a story that starts and ends with a bang. She delves into her psyche and watching kept me captivated the whole time as traveled through her dramatic crescendos and dimuendos. She, herself, is a tour de force, as is her show. Must see!!... full review

Junk Girls

This show does not fail to deliver in providing a thought-provoking show about someone usually found on the periphery of what society thinks about when dealing with war and combat. When considering the battlefield, we often think of soldiers dying, and the families that grieve them, but what about those that have to deliver the news about the soldiers to the families? It's a story I didn't even knew needed to be told, and the moral dilemmas it presents was told in an apt and appropriate manner. A... full review

The Book That Won't Close- Confessions of A Love Addict

Exhilirating! TL drives this show at a breakneck speed, maneuvering with a controlled chaos that is gripping, to say the least. She opens up the window of her soul, letting us see her dual struggle in finding her stance on the deaf/hearing spectrum as well as battles with love addiction, and we're all the better for it. Never devoid of meaning of emotion, she leads us through the tunnels of her pain into the light of her revelations. Must see!... full review

Naturally Tan

Oh my! Tanya dominates the stage in her story about growing up in Singapore trying to find acceptance in her self. It's not surprising to learn she is a professional voice-over actress, as all her voices (as well as characters) have tremendous depth and distinction. Her show also gives insight into a specific cultural struggle that doesn't get enough voice in the mainstream. I watched it twice, because I simply couldn't get enough after the first time!... full review

La Divina: The Last Interview of Maria Callas

This show has an immediate "wow" factor that carries throughout the show. Without knowing anything about Maria Callas, I feel like a got a true sense of who she is using an interview format that smartly uses pauses and interruptions to her advantage. And then the singing...bellissima. She could easily perform in any opera house around the world. One of the best, if not THE best, show I've seen at this year's Fringe.... full review

Boy Crazy Psycho Slut

What a ride! In a series of vignettes, chronologically time stamped as she ages, we get a glimpse into the life of a woman who's passion and capacity for love has provided a rollercoaster of a life. While it hasn't gone according to plan, Jo has done what she can to make the best of it and find peace with where she is. Very enjoyable, recommend for all!... full review

Experiencing Love on The Spectrum

This show was simply delightful! George is a great storyteller with excellent comedic timing. He was able to tell his particular tale of navigating adult sex and relationships with the right amount of honesty, integrity and diplomacy. Even when scenes turned more graphic, they were never crude. It was an honor to watch him perform, and genuinely made me laugh many times (which is not an easy accomplishment). I'd eagerly go watch him tell this story or any other one again.... full review

I Heart Maroc

Azo Safo has a crafted a stupendous show, both fun and endearing as well as educational. Her struggle to fit in is real, but her attitude toward her situation is always upbeat and uplifting. The amount of hope and ultimate selflessness was evident throughout, and the final message of living in the moment resonated strongly. At the core of her show, and Azo as well, is hidden in plain sight at the core of the show's title: heart. She fills the stage with hers, and it's hard not to have your own wa... full review
