Barbara Lee Bragg is from a Wyoming pioneer family. Her grandfather and father were award-winning western authors. Barbara ran away from home to New York and then got into David Geffen Yale Drama School, where she received an MFA. Afterwards, she did several Off-Broadway shows and auditioned for Broadway. She moved to LA- Film/TV include American Horror Story, Grey’s Anatomy, CBS Unicorn, Disney Plus, The West Wing, ER, and 3rd Rock from the Sun, to name a few. She starred in Sundance and Cannes Festival films, ‘The Olivia Project’, ‘Vampires of Venice’, ‘Finding Filman’, ‘Passengers,’ and ‘Heist". Her most recent TV credit is Dr. Leigh Brackett in ’Space Command- Forgiveness’ directed by Marc and Elaine Zicree. She has written 4 solo shows, including ‘True West Girl’, also directed by Debra De Liso at Hollywood Fringe 2010. ‘Tales of the Olde West’ was her 1st full-length play commissioned by the Autry Museum of American History, followed by ‘The Tuskers". ’Bitches be Trippin" was her first webseries and she was working on “Elk Horn Ridge” a limited TV series for Netflix and Apple Tv with Obi Ndefo before his untimely death. . "She belongs to the Open Fist Theatre company and will be in Tom Jacobsen’s newest play this summer.
