Cydney Davis
I am a professional singer, songwriter, actor, and voice coach. I am a student playwrite and screenwriter. I have sung background for artists such as MARVIN GAYE, BARRY WHITE, RAY CHARLES, JOE COCKER and STEVIE WONDER and I have written songs for DIANA ROSS and various movie scores. I am a part of the ROBEY THEATRE COMPANY founded by Danny Glover and Ben Guillory and was nominated for a 2010 NAACP AWARD for BEST ENSEMBLE CAST for my my role of “Grandma Whilemina Brown” in the Robey’s version of RIVER NIGER. I have recently finished my first screenplay for a feature film and will be showcasing a one act play for NAACP Theatre Festival.
