Donny Jackson is a LA based Lighting Designer and Theatre Instructor. Design highlights include Fat Pig (Hudson Theatre), Ubu The Sh*t (Four Clowns), Closely Related Keys (Lounge Theatre), the West Coast premiere of In the Heights (Casa 0101 Theatre), Phenomenal, written and directed by Macy Gray (Ramon Cortines Performing Arts), Spring Awakening (Long Beach Playhouse), and the NY premiere of Four Clowns (La Mama Experimental Theatre). Recent projects include Finding Nick (Zephyr Theatre), Loopholes: A Pain in the IRS (Hudson Theatre) and Death of a Salesman (Long Beach Playhouse). Other work includes RENT (Hudson Theatre), the premiere of The Day They Hung the Elephant (Son of Semele Ensemble), Intimately Wilde (Olio Theatre Works), That Beautiful Laugh (Four Clowns), A Chorus Line (Freud Playhouse), Sublimity (Lyric-Hyperion Theatre), Boeing Boeing, The Glass Menagerie, Vigils and Fuddy Meers (Long Beach Playhouse).
