It's always a pleasure to walk into a show with no knowledge of what to expect and get blown out of your seat! This show had me on the edge from the first line to the curtain call! The amazing work that Semaj and Tomas put into their characters and into the connection between each other is incredible, not to mention electrifying. Writer/director Edwards has put together a show that truly is a must see and well worth any admission they place on their tickets. It is truly a joy to watch talent li...

As a child of musicals I was completely won over by this production. Going in I had no idea what to expect. And I'm so glad! From the opening number by the Timeheart, to the follow up by the hero, I was captured. The cast and crew did an incredible job taking the audience on a journey they would never forget. The musical direction by Sam Johnides and the vocal talent of the cast provides some of the most catchy and most heartfelt songs of the festival. With the brilliant staging and producti...

What a lovely show to catch at the Fringe this year. I really didn't know what to expect, but was totally in awe of this show. It's not an easy thing to find two shows that go so well together in order to create an overall evening of theater. However, the three amazing ladies on stage and fabulous direction by Robinson make this the perfect evening! Such great stories that will definitely keep you talking well after you've left the theatre. Ashe, Margolis and Whitney command such presence on ...

To be honest, I didn't know what to expect with his show. But I am so glad I saw this show. As someone who loves old Hollywood, I adored so much of this show. Wright's amazing ability to become each character so clearly so that you could easily put yourself in Mary's shoes was incredible. Not only that, her choice to have Mary speak no lines and basically be a silent movie star was probably the best thing of the show. It worked so well and added so much to this story. I would totally recom...

Breathtaking. Excellent. Beautiful. Only a few words to describe the opus. As a huge fan of the book I was both enthralled by this masterpiece, and a little sad. And by that I mean it's too short. And knowing the story and Kelly, I know it's on its way to a bigger stage with so much more room to play. With the incredible music & lyrics by Kelly and Matt Dahan, the actors take you on an amazing trip that brings you to such an emotional place. And while there are still a few pieces not as stro...

I suppose there's only so much you can say about bloody brilliance! Bella Merlin has crafted such a beautiful piece about a woman so interesting that you wanna just stay in the story even after it's over. The simplicity of the set and the amazing direction of Anderson make this show shine from start to finish. That Bella begins the show well before you're even in your seats truly shows just what a master storyteller she really is. This show is definitely in my Top 5 this year and should be on ...

Holy Crazy! Are you kidding me with this!? This show was so freakin' funny I wasn't able to stop crying. Literally. The true mastery of this troupe at singing songs about nothing is brilliant! Under the directing of Safran and the musical direction of Wessels, "Stupid Songs" does not let up and does not let you breathe. I could have sat through another hour of songs easily!! If you don't see this show, then I'll probably unfriend you. Trust me. More than worth the price of admission!!...

Wow! What a show! I was completely blown away by Theatre Unleashed! The ensemble in this show is at the top of their game as they masterfully weave 9 scenes together to give the audience an incredible glimpse of "sleeping around." There are hilarious moments! Touching moments! And even "WTF" moments. And with Abella's text and Soroka's directing, this troupe does not let it stop from start to finish! Truly a must see at this year's festival!...

To be honest, I probably couldn't say enough about Penny and her show, but I'll do my best. No only did Penny's show have a lot of heart and comedy, but the direction of this show was incredible. Penny's movements and shifts from character to character were so well done, that it was obvious that her and Pearlman were more than on the same page. The amount of storytelling Penny was able to do with such a simple set design and look was truly amazing. I would highly recommend this show to everyo...

I honestly didn't know anything about this show going in. And I am so glad. Les and Marlene surprised me so much by just how simple, sweet and honest this show was. How well the two of them moved through their segments was beautiful. And both of them are such masterful storytellers that the entire audience was with them from start to finish. Truly a must see this year!...
