Simone Moore
Born in Montego Bay, Jamaica, was raised in Brooklyn, New York City. She speaks 3 languages (English, Jamaican Patois, and French). Simone studied Theater and Dance on a full scholarship at the University of California, San Diego where she graduated with honors and signed with Endeavor Talent Agency out of school. Simone works in theatre, film, and television.
In college Simone excelled in the Ford Colloquium and Mellon Minority Undergraduate Fellowship Scholars Program. Her credits include ARC alongside Ken Howard and Peter Facinelli, as well as BOSTON LEGAL alongside James Spader and William Shatner. Other film credits include Ivan Frank’s BELLY 2, THE PROSPECTS and ARC.
Her TV credits includes FRANKLIN AND BASH, COLD CASE, ALL OF US, CANNED, MRS WASHINGTON GOES TO SMITH, WITHOUT A TRACE and LAUREN.
This classically trained Jamaican actress has performed in over 40 stage plays in New York, Los Angeles and regionally including the prestigious La Jolla Playhouse, The Shakespeare Center Los Angeles and The Civilians Theater Company, New York.
Simone is a soulful singer, stylist ,decorator and painter. She has modeled in New York and Paris. She volunteers for various socially conscious organizations such as YES (Youth Entrepreneurship and Sustainability) and SAIPRO (Serving Artists in Process).
Simone holds a MFA in Theatre and Dance from the University of California at San Diego, which is rated 3rd in the nation and completed studies at the Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris, France. She taught undergraduate Acting and Public Speaking at UCSD for two years.
Simone is currently recurring on LAUREN from FOX’s WIGS Network, alongside Troian Bellisario and directed by Jon Avnet. She continues her acting studies with Tony Greco.
