nonprofit 501©3 & Alison Kamus Theater (AKT).
She produces, directs, writes & performs for
national & international theater. Alison collaborated with such luminaries as Henri Cartier-Bresson(California Impressions,CBS Documentary), as well as the reknown Hradek Kralove Filharmonie (International Collaborative La Bohème in the Czech Republic).
Productions include “Shakespeare & Concerts in the
Park” (LA County, City of Sierra Madre) & with such diverse organizations as Nat’l American Shakespeare Co, Pasadena Playhouse, Knightsbridge, Secret Rose, Academy for New Musical Theatre, & Cal Phil at Disney Hall. As a director, her work encompasses classic & original plays to musicals & opera. Her acting/vocal credits range from Shepard to Shakespeare including opera, musicals, voice-over, original, classic & contemporary stage. A writer of sketch comedy, she directed & performed as a resident & touring member of The Ice House comic troupe’s “Improv Inferno” & “Tour de Farce”. She will be directing the new musical theater work “Wanting Miss Julie” (based on the Strindberg Play) for the 18th annual ANMT Stages Musical Festival this summer
