This was a highlight of my Fringe experience this year. Deftly written, with characters so grounded and real despite two of them being dogs portrayed by actors, this play really surprised me with its comedic edge and dramatic gravitas. I was riveted from beginning to end. This is what it looks like when talented artists take up a real-world cause and make something relevant, impactful and creatively gorgeous. ...

OBSESSED with this character! I love Christmas, but even if you hate the holiday you will LOVE this hilarious take on Mrs. Claus! The comedic writing is sharp and witty, but also crass and punny, and Tanya is as fresh and as tart as a cranberry crush. ...

I walked into this show genuinely not knowing what I was really in for, and I think that’s the best way to approach it. Suffice it to say, all is not what it seems when we are introduced to the “main character,” and I personally found the show delightfully charming in the way it revealed a truer, deeper message at the end of the play. ...

Breathtaking ensemble work. Stunning, memorable visuals. Live soundscape. Exquisite shadow puppetry. Impeccably directed. I felt immersed in a familiar but distant world of gods, demigods and humans, and the connecting thread between the various vignettes was the playful fool, the Trickster, the clown. The work is SEEN and FELT, there is no doubt that this devised piece of theatre is at a level of supreme artistic fortitude. BRAVO to everyone involved!!...

This was such a great, educational and entertaining introduction to the pelvic floor! Amy is charming and effervescent on stage, and her characters of her body parts were my favorite part - simple yet totally engrossing. Kinda like the adult version of a Ms. Rachel show… She is really a joy to watch! ...

I went in with an open mind, and I got mindf*cked. I am obsessed with Tuesday and the show was hysterical. I never thought I’d be laughing that hard on a Sunday afternoon with no cocktails in my system. ...

Lady Satan for President. Seriously. I left the show feeling hopeful, inspired, and weirdly patriotic but specifically about rainbows and ethereal trans beings.
Peyton does not shy away from anything — she boldly confronts our present moment as 100% authentically herself. And it’s a beautiful example of how we should all show up, for ourselves, each other and the community. ...

A WILD RIDE. Totally genre-defying. Inventive use of the audience. A solo show (???) but so much more than that? I’ve never seen a “partially immersive” show be so effective. It’s not what you think, and not what you’re expecting. I’m so glad I went because it really opened my mind to what GOOD, expressive, expansive, entertaining theatre can be! ...

Fringe is not yet over, but I think this may be my favorite show so far. Artfully executed, this solo show showcases a performer who truly understands the assignment of owning the stage and telling a story with her whole body and voice. Truly becoming each character, unraveling a tale in a non-linear but deeply spellbinding way, this artist covered so much emotional ground, it left me breathless. ...

Such a fun show! It tackles a lot of things in an hour and a half - womanhood, mental illness, recovery, queerness, feminine rage, ritualistic psychosis… I was very impressed! Felt elements of Girl, Interrupted and Yellowjackets, both of which I love, so I was in my element! ...
