Dianne Pennington

Dianne is an actress, storyteller, and writer. She wrote, starred in, and produced A KISS OF COUNTRY, a comedic one act play, which premiered at the New Theatre, Hollywood. Other live theater credits include: HAMLET, The Company Theatre, THE LION IN WINTER, Studio One, PRESCRIPTION MURDER, The Repertory Company, THIS IS THE RILL SPEAKING, The Fountain Theatre, THE CREDITORS, The Group Repertory Theatre, and COOL BEANS COMEDY-Ice House Pasadena.
Television credits include supporting roles in: WINGS (NBC-Grub Street Prods.), SISTERS (NBC-Ron Cowen Prods.), and BABES (FOX-Sandollar Prods.)

Film credits include:“APT PUPIL”, Supporting, Tri-Star Pictures, “IT DON’T COME EASY”, Lead, TKO Entertainment, Inc., and “SOLMON KING”, Supporting, Star Struck Prods.

Born in Oklahoma, Dianne then traveled to California to study the craft of acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute, Stella Adler Conservatory, Sitcom Intensive with Stan Zimmerman, Cool Beans Comedy, and attended AFI. She sang, played, and wrote songs for LA-based bands such as THE WHIPS, SADDLEBACK, and LITTLE BOYS. She lives with her wonderful husband and dog, Bear, in a cabin outside of LA. She has just completed her PhD in Leadership/Education and is currently writing a sitcom.
