You must see this show! Timeheart is a freaking blast!! Dave reels us in with Greenstreet's first song and we're hooked. Brilliant, fun songs are strung through the entire show and we are constantly in this beautiful sci-fi world! The cast dives into the lovely oddities together and head-first! I have always been fascinated with Tiananmen Square. Not only did Tiananmen Annie further my education about the Square and the massacre, it also deepened my fascination, beautifully connecting her personal account with the stories we've previously learned! Shakespeare(ish) is fantastically unique!! The technical aspects, performances and prop-work blend tremendously! They had all of us in the audience connected from the very beginning and never looked back. The pacing and timing were excellent. Attending Merely Players is, without a doubt, the most fun I've had all Fringe!! All of huge performers buy into the same, excellent waiting-for-guffman-esque story and set the audience up perfectly for the rest of the roller coaster ride! I loved Pokémusical and Giraffenstein. And Color and Light doesn't disappoint, delivering another kick ass time with Merely Players. It fits perfectly into their niche and I can't wait to see what's next for them! Boss is fantastic from start to finish! From the moment Damien steps out on stage as Tony we are in it; setup so well for the fun that will continue to ensue! The entire cast understands the style of the piece very well and they all seem to be playing the same game. Assistants is incredibly entertaining! The songs are fun and catchy. And while it's already a lot of fun, I'm excited to see where it goes after fringe! I think Assistants will only get better from here and has the potential for a great run after the festival. What a blast! This was one of the first shows I saw this Fringe. It was a great way to get in the Fringe mood. I loved that the sketches excellently walk a fine line of reality and ridiculousness. I had such a good time from the very start as the hosts of the ABQ Fringe 2025 perfectly set you up and get you ready for the fun that continuously ensues! And the different nicknames for the ABQ fringe that are spouted out each scene kept me laughing all night!... full review
