It's an important, deeply felt, complexly written, historically revealing, scarily contemporary, beautifully acted and staged piece of theatre. Why do we live with such fear of each other? What is the matter with us that we are still grappling with racism? It was moving and left us with an important message for today. Be loud! Fight back! I just loved the show....

It's a jam packed show full of surprise. There is literally never a dull moment. Just as you think you know what's happening and another joke (hilarious jokes by the way) is on its way, a toy boat appears and and fills the theatre with pathos as a father and son try mightily to bridge the gap between them. A father and son, I might add, played by fingers and yet somehow not in the least bit silly.
It's a fast 70 minutes of truth and it's theatrical to the hilt. Richard wrote a winner.
