Leigh Kennicott

Leigh Kennicott came from film and television to earn a Ph.D. degree at the University of Colorado, Boulder, in 2002. Since then, in Los Angeles, she has directed “Romeo and Juliet” and the original play, “Charlotte Second Chance”; at College of the Canyons:“How I Learned to Drive,” “Nickel and Dimed” and “Top Girls,” as well as “Antigone” at Mt. San Antonio College.

Leigh is an actor (“The Family Matters,” 2013, Redlands Shakespeare Festival, 2010) and published playwright, with her most recent play, “Last Train at La Posada,” produced at Arizona State University, Tempe. When she is not reviewing (StageHappenings.com), she teaches theatre topics at California State University, Northridge and College of the Canyons.
