Kirsten Turkle

Kirsten graduated from UC San Diego, then went to Boston for a year. She has been in LA for only a few months and is extremely glad to find theater alive and well in this Film-industry town.

She has many different hats in the theater: costume design (The Seagull, UCSD Theater Dept; Tempest, The Players at UCSD; The Ash Girl, Foothiller Players), set design (Romeo and Juliet, the Players), choreography (Zaria Bellydancers), directing (Twelfth Night, The Players), and acting (Ophelia in Hamlet). Her favorite hat, by far, is Stage Managing (Wintertime, UCSD Theater Dept; Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Muir Musical; The Labyrinth of Jareth, Sypher Art Studios; Cymbeline, The Players; A Piece of My Heart, Foothiller Players).

She’s also had the pleasure of working in a variety of other live entertainment venues. She has both modeled and been a dresser for Daisy Viktoria Fashion. She was a dancer with Zaria Bellydancers and an assistant in a number of small restaurant performances.

She’s got a passion for Sci-Fi and many things “nerdy”. Let’s talk Star Trek or Pokemon or tabletop RPG’s.
