Based on the show's stated goal, I'd say it was Mission Accomplished! By the end of the show, I did indeed feel lighter, more connected, and more joyful! (I did not learn any new dance moves, but that has more to do with my own skills as a dancer)
It was such a joy to be in a theater full of people ready to embrace the healing journey this shows seeks to take you on, and keen to take in the medicinal powers of disco. And Liza's talents and charisma are on full display. I also had the pleasure ...

This show fascinated me! It made me feel uncomfortable, it made me lean in, it made me realize for a moment that my own fascination with this character at times made me feel like the voyeur. So beautifully crafted and the level of detail, enthusiasm, and charisma pulls you in. It's so good, I can't tell if this is fiction or non-fiction, and Katheryn won me over so thoroughly that I didn't really care which one it was....

Disturbing and funny, riding that beautiful comedic line of making the audience feel uncomfortable and then turning that discomfort into laughter. And the character Molly has created (a pop star version of herself) is so perfectly shallow and vapid, but Molly's heart and charisma radiates from within this otherwise selfish character, which is very much supported by the generosity and patience she handles her audience with. An absolute blast of a show!...

I came in having no clue what I was walking into and left being absolutely blown away by the level of skill, connectivity, and Anděl's awareness of her own strength as an improviser. The loose structure allowed for a maximum amount of chaotic laughs, while keeping the audience engaged. Also, Alex Burke was in it?? What the fuck? Let me start over. I came in thinking Anděl is a nice person whose show I was hoping would be good. I left thinking Anděl is a mad genius and one of the most gifted impro...

I cried. I laughed a lot. It so brilliantly captures the naivety (if we're being less generous, ignorance) most of us are raised up in, when it comes to the concept of gender. The innocence and insistence upon defending the version of the world Banana Man grew up in humanizes the people who have the hardest time understanding nonbinary gender, while also challenging them in a way that somehow feels wholesome while simultaneously not pulling punches....

An insightful and honest portrayal of the world of verticals, how fucked up they are, and how fucked up we all are (as audience and artist) to put up with them (for entertainment or out of desperation)....

One week later, I cannot stop thinking about how sharp and funny the writing was for this piece. If you saw this earlier in the run, I know I'd heard it ran long. What I saw for this final performance was something hilarious, lean, and paced extraordinarily well. An absolute pleasure to watch....

First of all, the concept is brilliant. And such a challenge for these writers and performers, one which they were all absolutely up for. The absurdity and humor bursting out from this structure is a marvel, and I hope it happens again!...

Holy shit, this show is fun! The dancing (or dance fitnessing) is strikingly good. The characters are so clear and stunningly flawed, leading to so much comedy, which the writing lifts beautifully. One of the weirdest shows I've seen this year, and it delivered in every way....
