Cleaner Than Blood

I loved this show. I like the twists in the story, but my favorite aspect of the show was the mood created by the choice of lighting with only candles and a flashlight. It was dark in nature and dark in appearance. I think too many productions lack in their respect for creating an environment that will draw you into the play. That's what makes live theatre better than TV or movies, being right there in the moment.... full review

Cowboy Mouth

The passion, energy and bipolar personalities of the characters tied me into a world I don't wanna be in, but just have to know more about. The performances were stellar. Some of the best actors in the Fringe. I wish I could see it again, but have a vivid memory to keep me for a while. Always secondary, but very important to me as a visual person, was the lighting and staging and use if the space. The effort to use every inch of the stage in intriguing ways was my favorite facet of the show,... full review

Top That!

I'm a sucker for comedies and this was a strong one. The actors are well cast. I like the premise for the play and appreciate the effort in making sure all the characters interact so we can see the chemistry they whole cast seems to have with each other. I would love to see more work from this playwright. ... full review

I want to see this play again and take everyone I know. Funny and clever and in no need of any improvement. The actors gave excellent performances. Reservoir Dogs awaits the dame treatment!... full review

Five Uneasy Pieces

If there is a more talented chameleon than Mr. Waring, I haven't seen him/her. His characters are vivid and meaningful. I think the bass player adds to the mood of the show and is just another excellent choice made in the creation of a wonderful performance. You should make every effort to be a member of yet one more audience that feel that they are lucky to have seen Mr. Waring on stage.... full review

Yoga is not my thing, but using it as a thread between several disparate characters with a good taste of comedy and thoughtfulness is. Impressive transformations between characters is the attractiveness of this performance.... full review

Miss Klochendler has an array of talents with storytelling, singing and comedy at the top. I love her story and her self-awareness. The words spunk, hope and optimism are the first ones that cone to mind when reflecting on the performance. ... full review

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. The performance is touching and substantial with several doses of humor tossed in to mitigate the poignant story. I think my fondness of this show lies in the respect for the performer in opening her life to the audience with nothing hidden or tempered. ... full review

Four Clowns: Romeo & Juliet

I know that it's juvenile to laugh at sight gags and sex jokes, but when it's done this perfect, no one is immune. I was shooting photography for this show and was laughing so hard that it was difficult to follow all of the movement on stage and get the shots that I wanted. Of course, I did get them, because it's a great visual piece and I could't miss the chance to get every single bit of it on "film". You absolutely have to see this show!... full review
