Abby is f*cking awesome. This is my idea of everything a good solo show should be: deeply personal, a little unhinged, unapologetic, full of energy, well-crafted, and with a vital purpose for telling the story. If you're not gonna put it all out there, why do it?! I love that the aesthetic of the show mirrors what seems to be Abby's personal and intellectual aesthetic: imperfect, unpolished (intentionally crafted so), and scattered, but with the ability to settle into a grounded place of truth...

A great show that displays the complication of high school (and human) relationships, and weaves a compelling story of scenarios that could lead to a school shooting. It's humorous, relatable, and I appreciated the fact that it humanizes each character, from geek to jock, illustrating that everyone has the potential to make mistakes and poor choices that can lead to tragic consequences. The cast is great (at times some of the emotion gets a little overly-theatrical, but still nice work). While...

I LOVED this show. It is tip-top storytelling...honest, detailed, meaningful. And, delivered by two brilliant and self-effacing gals - Amy and Julia - it is also hilarious! Both have unique voices and storytelling styles that complement each other, and both had an ease of onstage delivery that is incredibly compelling. The writing is clever, and chock-full of fun references for those of us that are generational peers. These gals are fun, intelligent, and real, which carries over off-stage. ...

Simple, clever, touching, great characters and wordplay. Trees are easy to neglect and forget in Los Angeles...it reignited my appreciation for them.
