This is a wonderful show, and I've never seen one quite like it. It's a one-man show, but not a series of unrelated character vignettes; rather, it's a cohesive, very well acted biography of a famous magician (a historical one? I don't know...doesn't really matter)...complete with a succession of expertly and artfully executed magic tricks (sleight of hand, illusions, mentalism...the whole nine yards!) I can't imagine how Bob Gebert does it: he is able to portray the joys and tragedies of this... full review
