Mary Kelsey

Producing and acting the illustrious playwrights character, “Sunshine,” by William Mastrosimone.

Ms. Kelsey is a graduate of the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City. Some of her favorite East Coast productions have been The Midnight Caller (Horton Foote), Woyzeck (Bruchner) and Orson Welles’ adaptation of Julius Caesar. In Los Angeles she has worked with the Gangbusters Theatre Company, where she has resided as a member since 2005, acting in Balm In Gilead (LA WEEKLY BEST PRODUCTION NOMINEE), Talk Radio (LA WEEKLY BEST ONE-ACT ENSEMBLE NOMINEE), Search & Destroy (BACKSTAGE ACTOR OF THE WEEK AWARD).
Mary also loves inspiring the next generation of theatre makers. In her spare time she works for a non-for-profit organization called STAR EDUCATION, a company selected as a Model Program by the White House and the U.S. Department of Education. On screen you can see her in Law and Order: SVU, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, as well as the films Maze, Never Down and The Harrow.
She excited to take part in her third fringe festival and her first in Hollywood.
