International Performer and Songwriter Karen Jacobsen’s timeless, cinematic, piano-driven songs have been licensed to US networks and she’s been called “hypnotic” by Harry Connick Jr. Her speaking voice unexpectedly landed in a billion GPS and smartphone devices, (original Australian voice of Siri).

As composer, Karen’s AIR-Award nominated pop-orchestral composition “Misogyny Opus” premiered at the MECC with musicians from the Queensland Symphony Orchestra setting Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard’s misogyny speech to music. A seasoned performer she has had wide media coverage internationally including being a clue in The New York Times crossword puzzle and performing at Adelaide Fringe Festival and Woodford Folk Festival.
