It was refreshing to see gender roles reversed with silliness like alpha female cowboys “not having emotions” and male librarians with “too many emotions”. Then, there is singing and dancing to-boot! Amazing graves is a two-for-one, with two 30-minute plays in a one hour timeslot. They chose the correct play order, starting with a fun look at the afterlife / remedying past mistakes in the beginning and then ending with a touching and hilarious tale of friendship and living in the moment by making deep connections....

I was transported to a different time and place. Shahin is quite the storyteller. This was a fable of good versus evil, young versus old, love versus hate. It was grounded in tradition and helped me recall my own roots in religious fables. It left me with lots to think about. ...

Christine is so charismatic! You fall in love with her quest for love from the moment she starts. Her story is relatable and emotional and we’ve all been there before. Every one of us wants to be loved and validated and so Begging for Love is a beautiful exploration of what it means to love yourself.
