Alli Kiko Masloske (she,they )

Writer, Director

Alli is a mixed-race Japanese screenwriter from a John Hughes–esque suburb of Chicago, IL. Growing up a sickly child in and out of the hospital, she spent much of her time watching TV and movies, which inspired her to earn a screenwriting degree from Columbia College Chicago. She specializes in telling stories that tackle tougher topics with grace, humor, and a lot of heart. Alli has worked with Netflix, Netflix Animation, Lionsgate, Amazon Studios, Moonbug Studios and AwesomenessTV, among others. She did, however, take a hard left turn and became a zookeeper during the writers’ strike. Her script PAPER FLOWERS earned her a spot in the 2024 CAPE New Writers Fellowship, the Grand Prize in Drama Screenwriting in the Emerging Writers contest, and recognition as one of ISA’s Top 25 Screenwriters to Watch in 2025. She’s currently contracted to write and develop a video game overseas in China. When not writing, she enjoys boba tea and caring for her 11 exotic pets.
