If you love Latin music RUN to this show! Hell, if you love music period you should run to this show! One of my all time favorite shows I've seen this year. Incredible performance of Latin music classics sung by Leo as though they had never been sung before. With such intense passion and commitment! I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this! Leo gives all his love to his performance! My friends and I were singing along at times to well-known lyrics, dancing in our seats, and brimming ...

Clearly an artist in command of her instruments, Tracey soars from stories, to song and break-out moments with such ease and panache you feel like you are watching someone who has been doing this for lifetimes....

From the first moment Roz greeted us onstage I knew I was going to enjoy this show. She is engaging and generously makes herself accessible to the room as a storyteller. We feel we are right there with her, when she nods at her neighbors, takes a trip to Africa, eats a bad dose of tiger ball soup. . .we are right there with her. In Search of Black People is a hilarious, but meaningful journey back to the center of the self....

Miss Magnolia Beaumont Goes to Provincetown

I LOVED this show! Smart! Moving! Surprising! So much more than you think it's going to be. Miss Magnolia will make you wonder if this is the story of a possession, or a deeply personal revelation of the self - or both? From the first moment that Miss Magnolia starts to introduce herself, I was transfixed. What is happening here? Why is she in the body of a gay man vacationing in Provincetown? What ensues is as funny as you'd think (you try hooking up with a debutante watching your every move) bu...

SOMETHING SPOOKY

I highly recommend this entertaining, spooky and hilarious show. Jon Schnitzer is a gifted comedian regaling us with tales of some seriously scary stuff while also throwing in some bangin' one-liners: scary kids with crayons! (You have to hear it from his mouth to get the joke). Schnitzer deftly guides us from the funny stuff into the dark and back out again while losing nothing in the way of creepiness. I screamed a couple of times and I got so spooked that twice I accidentally reached out and g...

What stands out about this show is that while it is about a specific community (the deaf and HOH) it is so relatable to so many: the experience of existing between two worlds. The feeling of being part of a community, but still "not enough" or "not qualified enough," the fear of being called out for just existing as we are. This is the second time I've seen this show and it just keeps getting deeper and better. TL is a talented performer making us laugh and also at times feel her pain. She puts h...

This show felt like being inside someone's dream. From the moment Paris takes the stage tap dancing we can sense that while the air is cheery for now, something darker lurks in the wings ready to reveal itself. Slowly through various dances and carefully chosen narration, Paris reveals bits of story that are wonderfully specific, yet don't linger too long to overwhelm the flow. The whole show is like watching a hand slowly open to reveal its cards. Paris Moon does a great job of delivering enough...

RADICAL ACTS with Ramón: Tomfoolery, Grief and Whimsy

When you hear this show includes drag and you see the wig, the mustache, the loud flowered shirt, you worry Radical Acts with RAMÓN might lean on stereotypes, turning RAMÓN into a caricature of a Latin man. That couldn't be farther from the truth. The magic of RAMÓN is Ruby Marez' tender handling of a real person, or as it were, persona. From the moment RAMÓN tumbles on stage, we feel his heart. Ruby creates something truly special with her character RAMÓN. And it isn't like the show isn't fun! I...

I deeply enjoyed this hilarious romp of an ensemble comedy show making the dark and serious topic of death incredibly funny. The writing is pithy and smart. The actors all perfectly cast and really synching up and playing well with each other. This was just the laughter I needed in the middle of Fringe!...
