POSTER CHILD: How Charlie's Angels Kicked My Ass Out Of The Closet

So funny, so touching a wonderful nostalgia bomb performed by super talented Dave Pavao. Excellent storytelling, deft solo character work. Even if I did not have a personal affinity to this generation (and my own Charlie’s Angels obsession) I think Poster Child is a must see story of self acceptance and coming out.... full review

Terrific storytelling and adept handling of difficult subject matter. McKinnon's swift transitions, super funny moments and character work brought levity and humor and even teh playing field against the dark, scary and traumatic events both personal and universally felt. Highly recommend! ... full review

Bathroom Diaries

I loved this show! Beneath a sparkling, sharp and witty performance is extraordinary bravery of an artist daring to takle sensitive subject matters with a gentle bluntness. Christina is a wonderful, funny and engaging performer and I can only hope she inspires others to spark conversations about addictions, recovery and the messy messy business of being a human being. ... full review

A Historical Gay Comedy Starring Nancy Reagan; clown show

Riotous, tender and a little unhinged - just like I love my former first ladies. Seamus is a delight and look forward to what he brings next. Superior costume and makeup. Super lighting and cleaver tech accessories. ... full review

Delightful and cleverly adapted! Truncated version works well for the comedies and this show plays up the silly with lol moments and super comedic performances. The cast seems to be having a great time and lends to the joyful exuberance of the production. ... full review

And What of the Children...

Dark, intriguing and smartly staged. I was rapt from the jump - precise writing and really good performances led us down a rather icky, yet intriguing rabbit hole, of unresolved trauma. While one may not relate to exact circumstances, one can certainly relate to reconciling the past with the present. Loved the transitions as well! ... full review

FUCK! An Iceberg: A One Woman Titanic with Magic Preshow

Anyshow with a double-wig is a show for me! But seriously, I loved it! It felt more like an 'experience' or a 'happening' in the most delightful way! Mallie is earnest and and engaging and sharp and so so funny! The journals entries were a terrific heart line through the voyage and the magic before was a perfect 'welcome aboard' and end a lovely, sweet 'bon voyage'. Thank you for an amazing experience! ... full review

Beautiful show! Haunting, captivating and powerful - visually, vocally and movement wise. My brief theatre history knowledge of the subject was deepened and I grew a new appreciation for Lotte and her life. Can't wait to see what Shelly does next! ... full review

How to Eat a Bear

I love stupid and silly when it's well done and this did not disappoint! Fast paced and broad, great use of supporting characters. And props. Kudos to the craftsmanship of the props! Luke and Mack have an easy repoire and great comic timing - great pair to watch together. The mighty bear grounds the chaos with his philisophical demeanor - well done! The songs gave an extra layer of fun an honestly, I could have handled a couple of more! ... full review
