Margo Rowder

I’m an Angeleno by way of Chicago, after growing up near Dallas’s Southfork Ranch. An actor/improviser, drummer/singer, and writer/editor, I found my way to film, TV, and the stage after 10 years as an ad agency art director and copywriter.

I became a professional entertainer in high school, as a drummer for vocal jazz performances and theatre productions. I began studying improv in 2012 with ComedySportz and graduated from the Second City Hollywood Conservatory in 2016. In 2018, I graduated from a two-year program in Meisner Technique at William Alderson Studio, where I continue to study. Recent credits include Cassandra in Short+Sweet Hollywood Finalist “Is It Cold In Here?” and Jessica in coming-of-middle-age indie feature VELOCITY. I’m represented commercially by The Park Noack Agency, and my fiction-writing is managed by Pooka Entertainment. I hold a BFA from the University of North Texas, where I studied art direction and music.
