A funny ensemble piece of modern dating. My overall impression: unique characters with unique takes. The stakes were also funny. ... full review

Begging for Love

My god, this show was incredible! CHRISTINE was incredible. From the opening we get the feel of a Judy Garland-ish song and a belting comedic song then it suddenly transitions into some great physical comedy. The whole show was a rollercoaster ride and once it ended I thought, “Wait!! I want MORE!!!” That’s how you know a show is GREAT. Christine had us eating off the palm of her hand and I was FED. ... full review

Wedding Party (Or, why you should not invite former friends to your wedding)

This show is by far my favorite show of the Hollywood Fringe festival. The writing was phenomenal. The cast was so deeply rooted in the story and took the audience on its emotional journey. An actor shines brightly under a great script and all of the actors onstage did. ... full review

This play was so delightfully funny. I loved the stage / lighting elements of the show and the sound design that helped the audience understand the characters. Also, the characterization of the two main men in the cast was soooo good. ... full review

Rey De La Luna

A stunning beautiful play about a Chicano man in Texas who dreams about going to the moon. I loved the storytelling in this show. After the show finished and I reflected back on my thoughts about it, I thought to myself that this could so easily be a Hollywood movie. It just has so many elements of the Latine experience and wanting to do better for ourselves while the voices around us tell us to stay small. ... full review

Trauma Bondage

This show was hilarious and fast paced. It’s therapy masked as comedy! I would dare to even call it a romcom! An end of the world romcom? Is that a thing? Well, it is at this show! It’s also refreshing for once to watch a show where the woman is the avoidant instead of the man. ... full review

Re-Visitor

Re-Visitor was full of everything I like when going to live theatre: costumes, wacky props (like a kids car that was used as a “real car”, camp, self-debilitating humor and introspection. The show revisits the artists time in her life when she put up a show where she plays a haunting figure haunting a house and a young girl, while bts she’s grappling with a divorce right at the same time. What I took most from this show is that regardless of what we go through in our own personal lives, we make a... full review
