Gonna be thinking about this show for a while! Laurie’s a masterful storyteller, and I was completely blown away. My jaw was on the floor multiple times, only for it to be picked back up so I could laugh hard at the next insane reveal. It was deeply moving, vulnerable, and unfortunately/fortunately relatable — but most importantly empowering and triumphant. ...

This show left me feeling absolutely softer, more forgiving, and forgiven. I loved how Veronica moved around the space and took total command, but in a tender, silly, and absurd way. I could’ve watched her heal people for hours — I think we all really needed her clowning magic. ...

This show felt like watching one of the greats at Woodstock, and we should all be so lucky to have witnessed Linzy Beltran before she inevitably becomes a superstar. Linzy’s energy and total command of a big, packed crowd is a testament to both who she is as a person, and her outrageous clown. The hour went by too quickly, I never wanted El Mago’s hijinks to end. One of my favorites of the fest. ...

This show moved me to tears (the only show at fringe to do that, for whatever it’s worth). Elena’s the kind of person, and performer, that moves about a room and takes command of it so effortlessly. Not in a crazy egotistical way, but a charming, grounded, unassuming, and always surprisingly absurd way. This show, to me, is what fringe is all about. Deeply personal, moving, and unique, and somehow hilarious all the way through — tip to taint. One of my favorites of the fest. ...

George's absurdly hilarious physicality completely blew me away, and how easily he embodied and transformed into all the complexities of humanity. So much of this deeply moved me and genuinely made me laugh out loud. I also loved how much fun he was having and taking delight in himself. He stayed true to his clown, all the way to the beautiful full circle ending....

It takes a special kind of performer to make you instantly get on board and fall in love with a character who doesn't speak a real language — and Emily did just that! I was transported to Slürt's demented and beautiful world, and I left feeling a renowned sense of adventure and hope for the world! ...

This was such a delightfully psychotic and X-tremely goofy show! Alex's brand of comedy is perfectly dumb and demented. I know that she is an adult woman, but to me, that night, she was Billy the doll. It doesn't matter if you know anything about the Saw franchise (although you will learn a lot), this show is a non-stop rollercoaster ride of absurdity!...

The best 30 minutes spent at Fringe. Sylvie gets things done so effortlessly, it's a uniquely dumb and funny thing to behold. I love how she improvises lol, it's so easy to get on her side (even though she held us hostage?!)....

One of my favorite shows I've ever seen in LA!! A simple game and premise expertly punctuated and earnestly delivered by Reshma. Everything was so patient and so earned. The audience is truly in the palm of tape guy's precarious hands the entire time. I left feeling inspired and weirdly moved by a guy I barely knew....

Aditi's beautiful storytelling felt like watching a great book that I would've loved in high school (and now!) unfold before us. Her earnestness and commitment to sharing each woman's stories was truly moving, and it's all punctuated by a relatable through line of riding in cars. ...
