A beautiful display of meaningful story-telling. Jen Row is a star in her own right and a more competent writer than Sheryl Strayed (Wild). This story is simple, poignant and expertly performed. One of the best shows I’ve seen at Fringe this year! Bravo! ... full review

An hour of absolutely solid comedy. The jokes were a laugh-a-second. Dale is a stellar comedian, and I hope he does this forever. Professional level in every sense. A total HIT! ... full review

Linzy Beltran had a stunning command of the audience like I've very rarely seen before on a professional stage. She is cool, confident, and absolutely hilarious. Fringe can be a beautiful place for artists to learn and grow and explore, but Linzy is a total pro. Her clowning was exceptional; her comic timing could not have been more perfect; her crowd work was masterful; and her stage presence proves she is a natural-born performer. She spent her hour on the stage like she lived there, like it wa... full review

Murder, Oops!

Molly Sharpe does not give a FUCK! And that’s what I loved about it. It’s weird, stupid, obscene, crass, bold, and fearless. Molly lets her audience know right off the bat (no pun intended) that her world is a playground — and she delivers! She plays with reckless abandon and is unafraid to take up the most space she can. There were even moments that she channeled Andy Kaufman, Bob Zmuda, and Tony Clifton. The scat song from the Landlord was nearing on comic genius. ... full review

Slay Me

One of the best shows I’ve seen at Fringe so far! This show is raw, guttural, honest, heartbreakingly real, all at the same time as being absolutely laugh-out-loud hilarious. It’s not an easy feat to write a one hour solo show that grips you from start to finish, but “Slay Me” does just that. We begin with full blown comedy and a performance by Veronica Rosas that will have you barrel laughing. Her comic timing and chaotic charisma on stage is one helluva stand-out, and at times is even reminisc... full review

Sweet Air

“Sweet Air” was a perfect platonicom and a joy to watch from start to finish! With well-crafted, unique, and quirky characters, Morillo had a professional handle on story, relationship, and arc. Clearly a versed writer, Morillo crafted a captivating story that was intriguing, fun, and laugh-out-loud funny. ... full review

From My Bunker To Yours

You had me at the dead coyote corpse! “From My Bunker to Yours” immediately sets a professional theatrical scene: detailed set work, creative use of projection, and simple but well-thought out costumes. At first I didn’t know what I was getting into, but it became clear very quickly that it knows exactly what kind of show it is. Tongue-in-cheek, darkly humorous, with plenty of heartfelt “awwws” from the audience. This was delightful and deliciously dark in the best ways! ... full review

The Time Machine

This show embodied everything that it means to be a storyteller and reminded me why I studied theater to begin with. This is an exquisite display of top-grade storytelling at its finest. The use of give-and-take from the ensemble made them a well-oiled machine. Each actor had an amazing grasp of character, the dialect work was professional, and the puppetry was exceptional. That said, much of the credit must be given to the director, Benjamin McFadden. The piece was poetic and physical, and ... full review

Venus in Fur

What a knock-out of a show! It’s always a good choice to bet on a David Ives play, but only when you have the talent to back it up. And, man, did this production prove itself! First off, the play was carried by Rachel Meyers, a total stand out talent. She commanded, not only the stage, but commanded the comedy like I’ve rarely seen. I imagine Meyers to be the exact actor which David Ives himself had dreamt up for the role - an absolute divine match. She nailed each joke that was written and even ... full review

All Cats go to Hell.

An absolute delight of a show! The little sister of “The Breakfast Club” meets the big brother of “Stand By Me,” this piece captures the essence of the epic misadventures of 8th grade that often collide with harsh realities of growing up. The characters were endearingly believable and charming, (as well as the actors playing them) and made up the real heart of the show. The production exhibited a perfect storm of great writing and great acting. There was a sweet sense of playfulness from the acto... full review
