What a delight! This transported me back to middle school (though the fights I had with friends were never quite so intense!) This show was an honest depiction of the emotional rollercoaster of being a pre-teen / early teenage girl. I think teenage girls in media are often portrayed as either sex objects or complete jokes, and I appreciated that this showed that they are just as complex as any other character. This is such a fantastic concept! Telling a life story through the different shoes she's worn was a great idea. I found myself looking at the many and varied shoes on stage and wondering what each one stood for.
