Betsy Cox takes you on a relatable, hilarious, and emotional "rags to riches" journey. Betsy has an incredible energy that radiates the room the moment she commands the stage. She tells the story about her struggles with adhd and growing up in Louisiana in a low income household with an eccentric mother(who's impression is fully embodied and lived in by Betsy) and absent father. This is a true story teller show that is so detailed and well told that it instantly transports you into the world of t...

I was blown away by this show. This was one of my favorite shows that I've seen at the fringe. Aidan created the perfect vehicle to showcase her talents as a comedic character actress and writer. As someone who travels a lot, I was hooked from the moment her "self" character begrudgingly has to move 32b (a middle back seat). The story is set in Aidan's universe on an airplane with multiple characters all played by her...It's chalk full of joke callbacks, hilarious storylines, and personal struggl...

Andrea takes us on a journey through her early years coping with severe family trauma, drug abuse, and life in Los Angeles. Similar to Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s live production of “Fleabag,” Andrea demonstrates that you can convey the full arc of a deeply personal story with a simple set, strong writing, and an impenetrable and relatable connection to the words coming out of your mouth. This show is deep, funny, and has you on your toes wondering what will happen next in this very real and wild stor...

This was one of the funniest shows I’ve seen at Fringe so far. Charlotte is so dropped into Tiffany that I couldn’t tell if we were at a show or actual psychic reading at one point. There are goops, gags, hilarious audience participation interactions, her gay husband wearing matching leopard… It’s fabulous. ...

Julia tells her story through musical numbers and recollections about her dating life, trauma, loss, and her childhood. This was a very entertaining, compelling, and relatable story. This was such a fun and heartfelt show exploring the denial of embracing one's self through the lens of vampire. The vampire goes through stages of his insecurities by calling on the advice of his talking furniture. This was a very entertaining show and unexpectedly genre bending performance compared with the other fringe shows. There's fantastical storytelling, beautiful choreography, fun set pieces, gorgeous lighting, and funny moments interweaved with real life struggles....

Kevin takes us on a very endearing journey throughout his childhood as he moved around the country with his family. He unpacks the trauma of fitting into his corporate life, and hiding his rock band/artistic self through nostalgia, musical numbers, and funny standup comedy-like moments. I highly recommend checking out this show!...
