A series of vignettes told with and about his father, Christopher’s show is the epitome of beautiful storytelling. To be so vulnerable on stage is immensely brave and I cannot emphasize how absolutely moving it is to watch a father-son relationship move and grow onstage in real time. As a Mexican-American, the unapologetic use of Spanish made me feel seen for one of the first times ever in a piece of media. The show skillfully dealt with the concept of imperfectly loving and being loved using the lens of BABY. Perfect balance of absurd comedy and trauma that will keep you engaged the whole time. Be careful if you have mommy issues and have fun with the audience participation. ...
