I Never Met A Jerk I Didn't Like

Tiffany Phillips is a dynamo and she owns that stage. She honestly explores that gene that makes us fall for the wrong guy 'cause he's just so sexy and we know we can change him. I had a great time. Only thing I could say is, this beautiful, powerful woman has such a great voice and dance skills that I wanted even more song. I especially enjoyed her "girls" who would jump up onstage to give the support to these numbers. Go see it.... full review

The Real Housekeepers of Studio City

Great fun show. Superbly directed and executed by a cast of pros. It was just the medicine I needed after an intense day of "fringin" and I was so engaged. Don't miss out on this gem. It is a delight and the voices, choreography and ensemble energy will definitely create nostalgia for a simpler time. Bravo!... full review

That's funny. You didn't sound black on the phone.

Just to start out, I need to put a disclaimer--I am not a fan of the solo show that all about that person's life is usually a yawner for me. Tonight proved me so wrong. I just had never seen such a compelling, funny, SMART show that I didn't want to stop. I wanted to hang out with, be besties with Jacquetta. Superb storyteller with such an engaging, all embracing delivery. I truly laughed the big guffaws and also had some great "Ah ha" learned something moments, Don't miss out on this Angel... full review

Cleaner Than Blood

Alex, the director, was my first contact with this festival. When he described this play, I said oh a comedy. Yeah that's my point of reference. This is an intense drama that explores our individual choices and the complexities of victims of pedophiles. It set my head spinning. Definitely not light fare but definitely a must see. Congrats to the cast!... full review

The Viola Mountain Door Company

First off I just need to say that Greg Abbott is a truly genuine, warm and sweet human being. Immediately i was intrigued to see what this good heart had to bring to the stage. It is a "mountainess" task to do a one man show to bring the essence of a small factory town to life. He started out with Shakespeare and I was "in". See this play which I think will grow with each performance. It is a gift from the heart, ... full review

#Hashtag

How much fun. This exuberant, funny, smart group of actors have conjured up a current, innovative commentary on social media. While talking to a fellow actor in the SPOLIN PLAYERS, who asked me how was hashtag, I started to rave about the evening. He kept nodding, saying cool while tweeting on his phone. Hey, I said this is what it's about. Are we ever just two people together communicating anymore? It's an enjoyable evening acted by a superb group of actors. FUN... full review

BOBBYWOOD: WHATEVER HAPPENED TO BOBBY THE BELLBOY?

Bill Ratner is the ultimate storyteller. I could sit at his feet and listen all night. This hour flew by and I felt like I had a new friend. His stories about his troubled and charismatic uncle exposed old Hollywood with pathos and humor. It was an exquisite, funny, sometimes sad nostalgic journey. Kudos Bill for your warm, funny and honest confessions. When this man gets behind the mic on stage, you see why he rocks the VoiceOver world as one of the tops and musical accompaniment by the supe... full review

A Man of No Importance

This excellent, deftly directed and superbly acted by this sparkling ensemble made for some of the best theatre I've seen in a while and I am your avid theatre goer. I definitely plan on going again and would recommend you put it on your list as a"must see" at the Fringe this year. The resonance for the Irish Catholics (past or present) will even increase the laughter and poignancy of this piece. Such a touching story of a gentle, sensitive man finding himself within his small community of frie... full review
