The Vagrancy

The idea of sex as a revolutionary principle is interesting to me and what I believe the script was attempting to expose. Especially with the protests in Brazil right now, the idea that we can use our own actions to bring about larger change is extremely powerful and something we miss in this country. Liz Femi's performance really impressed me in this piece because it was her ability to create the imaginary world that created the scope of the show. It was amazing to me how she transformed and with such specificity carried out the different scenarios. At the very end of the play, I wasn't quite sure where we were left and found myself wondering what it all had come to after the twist (averting spoiler here). Thank you to Michael Kass for bringing himself to the work and reminding us that what we bring to the play is the most important thing. That we are enough and that theatre can sometimes be just that instead of a disguise or elaboration of ourselves. Refreshing and liberating.... full review

This was my first FOUR CLOWNS show and what a great reminder of what we often loose... just having fun! The production makes bold choices and makes the statement that all we really need to do is play and be confident enough to enjoy that. I absolutely love this sentiment and also the professionalism and artistry with which fun is approached.... full review
