Wow. I heard another audience member gasp "wow" at a pivotal moment near the end of the play and that's exactly what I felt too. Absolutely loved Mikvah Girls. Emmy Weissman's writing is so smart and funny. The leads Maya Knell and Sofia JoAnna perfectly land every joke and every heartbreaking moment in this stript. A triumph from start to finish!...

A precocious kid might eat this all the way up, and it's certainly great for adults, who I believe are the intended audience....

Sarah Bebb's Sick Little Freak takes on the daunting task of making medical information about Diabetes 1 really funny and informative. What makes this show especially unique is the artful theatricality she uses to do more than demonstrate the various shots and medical tools her condition requires, she's actually really doing all of these things. This window into her world transcends stories or videos in a remarkable way....
