Ethan Stanislawski show comes out of storytelling and stand-up comedy. That being said, he doesn't voice different characters or make use of the stage or bring in props. He does, however, tell a compelling story about his own Jewish identity leading to a level-headed discussion of Gaza, the Palestinian people and Israel's leadership under Netanyahu....

A scab-scratching exploration of white privilege. Rain Perry relates her family story as an in-the-process researcher with a set filled with file boxes and index cards plus a full AV complement to obliquely connect her hippie father's family to the KKK....

This is an amazing piece! I loved all the dark undertones, twisted backstory and the disturbing resolution. At some level, anyone with a sibling (even a nice one) can connect. We humans are complicated!...

Despite that Christina Marie Leonard relates a story of weathering an uncomfortable chronic condition and often overwhelming substance abuse issues, she presents as a compelling comedic actress who is darling, fit and seems to always have a boyfriend. The play is super engaging. Highly recommended....

Charlie Day is a force to be reckoned with! From the first wriggle of his presence the audience cheers, laughs and applauds his every move. While the concept (its Paris not Romeo who should be with Juliet) goes on and on its Charlie's wacky charisma that carries the show....

What a privilege to listen Ayahuasca infused musings on his life as an imperfect Dad, a risk-taking adventurer and an inner life explorer. He manages to weave in making a film about Bolivian revolutionaries, a tantric ceremony in India and of course Burning Man! And it somehow all comes together in the two minutes he is alloted to speak at his beautiful and accomplished daughter's wedding....

Laural.Meade is a magnificent storyteller and a powerhouse in her own right. As she weaves in her own history of being raised a bible thumping Christian raised in Glendale alongside of the bawdy Jewish Sophie Tucker, you come to fall in love with BOTH of them. While I certainly wished Laural might have accessed all the sex Tucker apparently had, clearly she relishes (and tingles) discussing a life ripe with shenanigans!...

Brutally honest self-assessment by a playful dancer and former porn industry professional of the never-ending challenges of resolving family of origin issues. Seaman's life-long low self-esteem struggles are bravely dissected at a time of life (he's 82) when there's truly nothing left to lose!...
