Madeline Moran (she/her)

Actor, Writer, Director

I am an actor, writer, and comedian who values laughter and honesty to form a community and process difficult situations. During the coronavirus, I dealt with both world and personal health crises, being diagnosed with complex regional pain syndrome. Initially told I would never run again, I persevered to complete a boot camp 5k last winter. Today, I use humor to create an appreciation for the present moment, acknowledging and alleviating the silly details of life that I tend to stress over. My identity constantly shifts in my 20s, so comedy helps me and audience members discover our places in the world.

Previously a jack-of-all-trades and a master-of-none, Maddi Moran has shifted her focus to creatively writing and performing live, theatrical comedy with pieces of genuine sadness. However, her previous experiences as an Assistant Director and Stage Manager have given her the tools, discipline, and organizational strategies to execute projects collaboratively, creatively, and logistically. Maddi is currently Assistant Director of The Suspenders Sketch Comedy Troupe, writing, performing, and curating sketch shows that represent a wide audience range of humor. Ultimately, Maddi’s passion and focus lie in helping audience members confront life through these shows, finding joy and success in both team devising and solo performance
